On the 15th of March, 2013, Gonzalez agreed to re-sign to the Falcons for a two-year $14 million deal, despite his claim that he would be retiring after the 2013 season. Randy Moss retiring, Gonzalez's 37th season was the last as NFL leading receiver in yards.
